دار محمد Daar Muhammed

عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم:

يقول العبد: مالي مالي. و إن ما له من ماله ثلاث: ما أكل فأفنى, أو لبس فأبلى, أو أعطى فاقتنى. و ما سوى ذلك فهو ذاهب و تاركه للناس.

رواه مسلم.

Narrated by Abu Hurairah (ral): The Messenger of Allah (sal) said:

The slave says: ‘My wealth is this much, my wealth is this much’ but what (actually) belongs to him from his wealth is (only) three:

(1) what he ate and consumed,

(2) what he wore and wore out,

or

(3) what he gave (for Allah’s sake) and stored (for the Hereafter).

Whatever besides that will go (from him) and he will leave it for the people (inheritors/others).
