It was Muhammad’s صلى الله عليه و سلم habit to spend ensuing nights in cave Hira contemplating in the creation and striving in the worship of One God, the God of Ibrahim. His heart had believed in just Him and denounced all the rest that was being worshipped around him in Makkah at the time.

وَ الَّذِيْنَ قُتِلُوْا فِي سبيلِ اللهِ فَلَن يُضِلَّ أَعْمالَهُمْ …but those who are killed in the way of Allah, He will never let their deeds be lost. The Qur’an 4:47

عن أبي أمامة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم: مَنْ أَحَبَّ لِله و أبغضَ لله و أَعطى لله و منَعَ لله فقد استكمل الإيمانَ رواه أبو داوود Narrated by Abu Umamah رضي الله عنه:

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم فَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَّقًوْلُ رَبَّنآ ءَاتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَ مَا لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلاقٍ وَ مِنْهُمْ مَن يَّقُوْلُ رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةُ وَ قِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ. أًوْلَآئِكَ لَهُمْ نَصِيْبٌ مِّمَّا كَسَبُوْا وَ اللهُ سَرِيْعُ الْحِسَابِ. الآية 200-202 : سورة البقرة But of mankind there
